EPR AUTHORIZATION REGISTRY IN INDIA

We are now living in the 21st century and the deterioration of the environment is an alarm to all of us. As the population increases, the number of waste increases, which clearly indicates that if waste management is not taken into account, this can lead to something very harmful in the coming years. According to surveys, the industry produces a large amount of waste and proper management is required to manage this waste. With new technologies on the market, the country has developed many new ideas for waste disposal.

We have always been taught that we all have a social responsibility and care about our surroundings and our surroundings, but we don't. In order to support electronic waste disposal and to implement waste disposal, the government has released the term EPR. EPR stands for "Extended Producer Liability". The words themselves explain that this is an additional responsibility for producers. The manufacturer must eliminate electronic waste so as not to harm our nature. In addition, manufacturers will organize two seminars a year on raising awareness of e-waste, its effects, and management. And you must file a self-declaration to comply with ROHS (Reduction of Hazardous Substances).

The term EPR was first coined in the early 1990s and is intended to encourage manufacturers to develop products that can be used longer and are recyclable. Basically, it is a strategy for the good of the environment. The EPR aims to reduce waste production and thus protect the environment. Now, you may be wondering how the EPR does it. The EPR holds manufacturers responsible for manufacturing long-term, useful and recyclable products. The longer the life of a product, the less it becomes junk. As a result, less waste is generated and the problem of disposal is also solved. This also leads to the manufacture of reliable and ecological products.

According to the Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the EPR (extended producer responsibility) is an environmental protection strategy, for which the manufacturer has the key to extend the useful life of the products. The goal is to hold manufacturers accountable for the environmental impact of their products throughout the product development process.
